Copper Hammered Cataplana "Vintage"

Used to cook typically Mediterranean dishes, especially clams and seafood in general, the cooking process used by the CATAPLANA prevents the loss of the ingredients, ensuring full and excellent flavour. Furthermore, cooking in the CATAPLANA is healthier since the recipes use less fat, and thus contain fewer calories. The typical copper Cataplana (tinned interior), like ours, distributes the heat more evenly and efficiently. This specific cataplana model, due to its "bulging" format, is able to take more food quantity that the others cataplana models of the same size. About the available sizes, we have the following: Ø 24cm (2 pax); Ø 27cm (4 pax); Ø 30cm (5 pax) and Ø 33cm (7 pax).
